17th September 2020: The Order has been received and can be viewed here, or on the Noticeboard in Broad Street: Highways England Order
The Clerk has received notification of a draft order regarding the no entry signs at the northbound junction of the A34 at East Ilsley.
The current No Entry signs do not have a Permanent Traffic Regulation Order (PTRO) attached to them, and are therefore illegal.
This order is to be able to give these signs a PTRO so that they can remain in place. The concern being that if they were to be removed, accidents could happen.
As we do not have a Parish Office for us to display these documents in, we have been given permission to share these with you via our website and Parish Magazine. They will also be added to the Parish Noticeboard in Broad Street.
You can view the documents here:
The objection period runs from 13th August 2020 to 3rd September 2020.
