George is one Ward Member for the Downlands Area which
contains East Ilsley and also includes the Parishes of
Beedon, Brightwalton, Catmore, Chaddleworth, Farnborough,
Fawley, Leckhampstead, Peasemore, West Ilsley
There
is a regular meeting of the Downland Area Forum, which is
made up of Councillors, invited representatives from other
local organisations, Parish Council representatives and
members of the public. Anyone is welcome to the meeting and
if you wish to express your views on any issue being
discussed there will be an opportunity for you to do so.
As well
as the Downlands Ward being represented the Forum also
covers the Parishes of Ashampstead, Boxford, Chieveley,
Combe, Compton, East Garston, East Ilsley, Enborne, Great
Shefford, Hamstead Marshall, Hampstead Norreys, Hungerford,
Inkpen, Kintbury, Lambourn, Welford, West Woodhay,
Winterbourne, Yattendon.
